External Plugins introduction:
Kernel Info
Provides Kernel Group with Processes,Services,Modules,Drivers and Objects tabs. All informations are retrieved directly from kernel driver. Usefull for finding which processes are cloaked by rootkit or which Kernel API functions are hooked. This plugin is designed for computer specialists.
System Info
Provides System Group with many System Additional informations like Operating System Details, System/Common Folders,Enviroments, Restrictions, Audio & Video Codecs, System Colors, System Updates, Regional Settings, Fonts Browser, File Types Associations

WMI Browser
Provides WMI Group with Browser tab. Browser Tab contains Windows Management Instrumentation Data browser. This plugin is designed for computer specialists.

System Explorer 1.5 Beta 3 was released today. Contains "System Report" and "Find" functionality. Many bugs were fixed too. See change log for more informations.

Development of System Explorer 1.5 is near to final stage. System Explorer 1.5 Beta 2 was released today. It was 1 month of hard work from the release of beta 1. Almost all functionality was moved from main application to plugins. Internal plugins are still compiled in main binary, but can be disabled in Plugin Management. This brings option for better customisation of UI and resource usage. User can easily disable unwanted plugins.

"System Report" and "Find" functionality are hidden in Beta 2. Conversion to plugin system will be finished till Beta3.

Beta 2 is distributed without external plugins and multilanguage files. Language files will be available for translation in first Release Candidate.

"System Report", "Find", "Multilanguage support", little improvements and bug fixes. This is our TODO list for Beta 3. If you want to have any function in version 1.5, let us know in our forum.

Security Extension in SystemExplorer 1.6

We improved Security Extension in version 1.6 Beta 1. Now it's based on our free service Online Scanner.

How It Works:

System Explorer collects informations about running processes/modules and send it to OnlineScanner Server.

OnlineScanner Server check received data against our database (>264,000 items) and send results back to client.

Results are displayed in System Explorer as Green (Safe) / Red (Threat) / Blue (Unknown) icon.

Threat found ! What I should do ?

Don't panic. First step you can do is check the threat marked file via VirusTotal or Jotti service. (Right Click to file>File Check)
If this services mark the file as suspicious, you should scan your computer with any good antivirus. You can try free version of AVG.
If this services mark the file as safe, then it's false positive in our database.

How to report false positive?

Please send us VirusTotal report link to our email: admin@mistergroup.org. Subject:False Positive.

Launcher can be configured via config.ini

The NewTaskSearchDirs item contains list of directories where SE search for executable files. Default settings is:

You can also define text shorcuts. There's 3 in default config.ini.

System Explorer supports 3rd party plugins. For simple plugins there's no need to develop DLL plugin. Simple actions can be defined in Plugin Configuration File. Complex plugins can be developed in any enviroment which produce WIN32 DLL.

Informations about system are divided into tabs. Tabs are organized into groups.

Here is list of tabs of System Explorer 1.5. For more information about Tab functions click to Tab Name.

Monitoring	Tasks	Contains list of actual system tasks. Provides functions for ending task, switch to task and create new task.
Monitoring	Processes	Contains list of actual processes. 27 parameters can be displayed about each process. For example: PID, Security Rating (*1),CPU, CPU Time, Memory Usage, Handles... Provides many functions for manipulating with process. For Example: Terminating process, changing process startup type, priority,affinity....
Monitoring	Modules	Contains list of modules loaded in actual processes. Each module item contains information about Security Rating (*1), Product Name, Company Name, PIDS (List of processes PID where is module loaded)
Monitoring	Performance	Contains graphs and statistics about usage of Processor, memory and I/O devices.
Monitoring	History	Contains list of informations about performed actions. You can monitor changes in processes, Connections, System Events and Files creation/modification. History can be automatically saved to log file.
Monitoring	Windows	Contains list of created windows. Provides functions for window flashing, bring to front or window closing.
